For nine years, from 1981 to 1990, Strypes rocked the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Formed by best friends, keyboardist Robert Richholt and guitarist Jesse Seales in the late 70’s; the Strypes lineup was completed with the addition of singer-songwriter-front man Regan Lane and drummer Andy Morrison. A bevy of bass players came and went, including Steve Fossen, formerly of Heart. This hard rocking and hard partying band released 3 singles and a full-length album ‘The Difference’, embarked on several successful tours of Japan along with extended stays in Korea, The Philippines, Guam and hit all the hot Los Angeles clubs while on numerous successful cross country tours across the US. With all great bands there is a certain chemistry that only certain band members can create and Strypes are no different. For the first time since the bands’ demise in the early 90’s, the original members of Strypes will reunite for a select number of shows. Regan Lane, Robert Richholt, Jesse Seales, Andy Morrison and honorary Strypes member Ray Hartman, formerly of Groovy Times In Babylon and BrokenNess plan to rock the northwest this coming fall with the same energy and intensity that they were so well known for in the 80’s.

There is no cover at Regan Lane's Thursday Night Music Club, sponsored by The Weekly Volcano and Musicians Exchange every first Thursday of the month! Regan will be doing his heartfelt honest Beatle-esque pop with another lineup of amazing musicians also doing 1/2 hour sets! Camille Bloom: Having influences ranging from Ani Difranco, to Billy Joel to The Cranberries, Camille Blooms’ music has flavors of alternative, rock, folk and funk that she likes to call alter-funk rock. Combining powerful vocals and edgy rhythm guitar, Camille tells intimate stories of her life through passionate lyrics and haunting melodies. Though modest about her achievements, in the last year Camille has showcased in L.A., been chosen for a compilation cd with some of the best talent around the world (L.A.'s Indyhits.com), taken over six tours and has been on several radio stations throughout Washington, Oregon and California. She continues to wow audiences with her amazing vocal versatility. http://www.camillebloom.com Sweet Punch: Bridget St John is Sweet Punch. A Seattle artist with a folk/pop/blues/rock kind of sound. Piano is the core instrument in most of her songs and although a young artist, bands that influence her songwriting and vocal characteristics are mainly 60s and 70s artists such as The Eagles, Queen, The Little River Band, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Manhattan Transfer, and Elton John. She says of her latest album, "So many people write about love and relationships, and I think that's wonderful, I do it too! But, that's not the only thing going on that people take interest in. I think it's fun and challenging to write more about daily experiences and tell the stories of people you run into and know. The songs need to capture the audience; get them to feel, laugh, and think, but at the same time allow them to relax. That's my job as an artist, and that's what my new CD 'Magic Stones' is all about." http://www.sweetpunch.com Scott Andrew: From his fortress of solitude in the Pacific Northwest, Lo-fi acoustic pop superhero, and songwriter Scott Andrew delivers scruffy pop with underdog bravado. Despite three independent releases and the occasional lucky opening slot for a national touring act, he stubbornly clings to his day job at a Very Large Corporation. http://www.scottandrew.com
